An interesting article regarding the Gloria sessions,

http://www.readingetc.com/counselormagazine/component/content/53?task=view

I have to admit that as a Gestalt therapist I did always find Perls to be rather brutish though I also always thought I understood where he was coming from...

A friedn of mine is a gestalt therapist and she says that gestalt therapists practise differently to fritz perls. Cant rememebr exactly what she meant with that but in my course we watch Mr Perls in action and if that was my therapist I would have ran away and never come back. For some clients, and that is my believe, this kind of 'challaning' is way too early.

ps. havent read the artoce yet so.... maybe i will reply again later on.

Those Gloria sessions were certainly fascinating to watch though!
