Hmmm, Hi Caius I've been wondering what it could mean. I've never heard of this, but I wondered if it was supposed to be a 'service user centred approach'... could it be that? Because if so, I suspect it would mean the same as a 'client-centred' approach (also sometimes known as person-centred).

I just wondered if it was that, because often different agencies prefer to call their 'clients' something like 'service users', for all sorts of reasons.

Sorry I have just logged on quickly so I won't go into trying to come up with a quick and easy definition of 'client centred' or 'person centred' counselling is, but you can find many definitions on the internet, I'm sure

All best

If I remember correctly this was one of the questions we were asked on the course and it is about the service. The person using the service, rather than the client using the therapy/counsellor.
Its about how the agency works, how they get in touch with you when the counsellor is ill, whether its suited for wheel chairs and so on.
